I fully believe that the E.L.F. quad shadows and individual shadows show a lot of promise for those starting out on makeup for the first time, or for those who are trying to get back into it. I have done some nice looks using those products, and I think they are a great place to get started.
I cannot, however, recommend any of their palette shadows. I have 4 shadow palettes from E.L.F. cosmetics and each is just as disappointing as the first. You can see from the pictures that this look leaves much to be desired, even though I tried hard to sell it.
I used the most intense colors from the new palette I received, and this was the result. Mild, pale, and too subtle. I am fine with soft, subtle looks, but if I am using the most intense colors in a palette that also contains soft colors, that is unacceptable. I can’t imagine how chalky the light colors look.
Yeah, don’t buy them.

E.L.F. 47-Piece Makeup Clutch
I originally bought this clutch for a Christmas present, but found something a better fit for that recipient, so this became mine! It has 32 eyeshadows, 6 lip colors, 2 blushes, 1 bronzer, 1 eyebrow powder, 1 eyebrow cream, 1 face shimmer, and 3 eye sponges. The colors are the same as the silver and gold clutch they are currently touting for the holidays. I hope to do some looks from it soon. Stay tuned!

AMAZING!! What else can I say? These eyeshadows are amazing! This is the 120 1st Edition Eyeshadow Palette. They are highly pigmented, soft, and come in so many colors! I got these from BHCosmetics. They have a lot of great sales. Keep updated! I got this palette with their summer sale for $20!
